About Charli
Charli has been practicing yoga since 2009 and teaching since 2012. After initially working as a Management Accountant for 10 years, she left her job to travel Central & South America, India and Thailand. She undertook her yoga teacher training whilst in India at Ayur Yoga Eco Ashram and qualified in Hatha Yoga. Upon returning to the UK and Finance work again she knew in her heart that there was more to life than the work she was doing, she felt unfulfilled and that life had no meaning. She started to teach yoga and it soon became apparent that this was her calling.
Since her first training, Charli has qualified in Vinyasa Flow with Mimi Kuo Deemer, Hot Yoga with Kristin Campbell, Yin Yoga with Norman Blair and 100 hours Anusara training with Bridget Woods Kramer. She is currently working towards her 500 hour training with Tiffany Cruikshank.

Yoga Classes
Charli teaches Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, Hot and Hatha Yoga to groups and individual clients across North West London. Her initial training was a 200hr intensive course in India which took her personal practice to greater depths. She has since furthered her studies with world renowned teachers; Tiffany Cruikshank, Mimi Kuo Deemer, Kristen Campbell and Bridget Woods Kramer.
Charli has a passion for alignment and anatomy to help students work with pain and keep them safe in their practice. She teaches slow flowing alignment focused classes where movement is linked through the breath to allow the body a chance to let go of tension and relax, whilst positions are held to build strength and freedom in the body. She focuses on breath awareness, alignment, building strength and core work. Her approach to yoga and warm caring personality shine through in her teaching style. Sequences and postures are modified to be available different levels or those with injuries, with individual help given as encouraging hands on adjustments and verbal cues.
It is the transformative effect of Ashtanga yoga that keeps Charli dedicated to the practice whilst Vinyasa Flow allows her the freedom to be creative on the mat and create fun sequences that challenge and keep students on their toes.

Charli's Teachers
Charli has practiced with a number of great Ashtanga teachers which include Corrie Preece, Ursula Scott, Michael Gannon, Brett Porzio and Petri Raisenen.
The below two teachers have the biggest influence on her teaching style.
She is especially grateful to Corrie Preece who was her mentor whilst she began the journey into teaching. Charli was very lucky to receive 1-2-1 training from Corrie on how to teach, specifically giving adjustments to students. She assisted her for a year in her Ashtanga classes and also assisted on her retreats 2 years running. Corrie was her first yoga teacher and had a huge impact on her life, from her yoga practice & her teaching to the food she eats and how she feels about herself. She has a special place for Corrie in her heart and is eternally grateful. Corrie teachers Ashtanga Yoga at Triyoga Shoreditch
She is also especially grateful to Mimi Kuo Deemer. Through a sea of Vinyasa teachers at Triyoga, Mimi stood out from the crowd. Although Charli loves Vinyasa Flow, coming from an Ashtanga background she struggled to find a Vinyasa Flow teacher that she wanted to go back to week after week. She has been a regular student of Mimi since 2013 and her classes are greatly influenced by her slow mindful style of teaching. Mimi has such a beautiful, soft energy and is now also a friend as well as her teacher and guidance in the world of teaching. Mimi co teaches on the Triyoga Teacher training and runs the Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training at Triyoga
