Group online yoga classes are held over zoom.  A link is sent to you 15 minutes before the class start time. All you need to do is click the link when it arrives in your inbox and set up your laptop, ipad or phone in a good position.

Ideally I can see the whole of you on the screen, but if your space is small, then as long as I can see your hands and feet on the yoga mat, I can give a lot of instruction from there. You really don't need a lot of space so don't worry. 

A yoga mat is useful as are blocks and a strap. If you don't have any of these you can practice on carpet or wood floor with some cushions handy. For props -  books and scarves are a good substitute for blocks and straps.

 YOGA CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
These are my favourite classes of the week! We have a lot of fun, trying new things, falling out of handstands and arm balances, and laughing at ourselves as we go. These classes are fun, playful and challenging and everyone leaves with a big smile on their face. We start slowly, usually laying on the back with some breath awareness to centre, ground and arrive. I will ease you into a dynamic vinyasa flow practice via some laying stretches and core work. I teach the "How to" of advanced asanas and break the down rather than just guiding you through. My classes vary every 2-3 weeks, giving you a chance to repeat the sequences and transitions, but also changing things up so that you build strength and flexibility through the whole body, not just repeating the same sequence week on week.​

GENTLE YOGA / BEGINNERS
A slow paced class where we work in more detail with alignment and the specifics of transitions between poses. In this class you will learn the "How to" of every pose, rather than just moving through a practice. Therefore it is a great practice for beginners but also more experienced students either wanting to go back and learn the basics properly, or wanting a more gentle practice. We start slowly, usually laying on the back with some breath awareness to centre, ground and arrive. With each yoga pose that we move into we break it down by alignment and how to approach it dependant on flexibility, injuries or yoga experience. Classes are small so I am able to give feedback to each student which allows them to feel more comfortable in a pose or progress further in a pose.​

​MIXED LEVEL CLASSES
Suitable for all students including complete beginners as long as they have a good basic level of fitness. As with all my classes -  we start slowly, 
usually laying on the back with some breath awareness to centre, ground and arrive.  We then move through a slow vinyasa flow practice ​where I give options for how to approach basic and challenging asanas depending on the students experience/ abilities.  Depending on how you feel that day you can make the practice gentle or more challenging for yourself, therefore it is important to connect with your own body awareness and take the options that fit your level of experience.

​MORNING FLOW
A lovely morning wake up flow to ease you into your body and your day. As with all my classes - we start slowly, ​usually laying on the back with some breath awareness to centre, ground and arrive. I encourage a truly mindful practice full of big breaths to set you up for a great day ahead. We think about how opening the body in our practice is going to encourage a better posture through the rest of the day.  There is nothing too challenging/ complicated in this class but feel free to adapt and add in any variations you have learnt in other classes. I like to keep the class simple in the morning, yet we will wake up, strengthen and energise the whole body.
Suitable for all levels of students including complete beginners. Kids are also welcome to join in with this class and I will give them some fun options to take.

YIN YOGA
Here we hold seated or laying poses for 3-5 minutes each pose. It is a truly relaxing practice and the perfect way to end your weekend and help you sleep better. It's a great class to take for injury recovery, to reduce stress,  to focus solely on flexibility and to slow down. There is nothing strenuous in the class but we do work into some deep stretches. You can support yourself in the poses with pillows, cushions, blankets & blocks. Whilst you are holding yourself in the poses, I will guide your breathing & talk about mindfulness & becoming more present. You will leave this class knowing and understanding yourself better with a sense of peace and calm and a great nights sleep ahead of you!


ABS BLAST - FREE!!
I am so happy to be able to offer this FREE class to you. This class is open to all students unless you have back pain or injury. Its a short lunchtime boost that will energise you for the afternoon and leave you buzzing! We start with a couple of stretches to warm up, work through some laying core work before moving onto seated core and plank variations. It's a lot of fun, you'll try new things and you can measure your progress each week. You don't need to be able to do the whole class, you can start with 5-10 minutes and progress from there. I also give options & variations throughout the class for different abilities so you can work to a level that suits you.
