15 minutes walk from Belsize Park Station.
Suitable for those with some yoga experience.
Willingness to have fun and spend time upside down!
In this workshop you will have the chance to play around with popular inversions and arm balances within a small group setting. The workshop will be limited to 10 students so that I can give individual help to everyone.
We will spend time breaking down each arm balance or inversion, with tips on how to go from beginner level to advanced.
Whether you are just starting to learn to hold crow pose or you want to try forearm stand (pictured right), this workshop is for you.
I have tips to help you build the strength and confidence for each pose. Many of these poses look harder than they really are. I will give tips on which parts of the body to focus on with flexibility and strength to progress into the poses. If you don't manage them in the workshop you will know what to work on to start moving towards the full pose.
Time permitting we will cover headstand, handstand, forearm stand, crow & side crow (with options to enter from tripod headstand) 1 leg crow, astavakrasana.
Please bring your own yoga mat or let me know if you need me to bring one for you.
10.15am Freemasons Arms Pub
We will meet by 10.15am outside the Freemasons Arms Pub on Downshire Hill. Please be on time as we will leave at 10.20 to walk into the heath and find a shaded spot to practice on the heath. Please message me if you are running late. 07740 300 557.
Join us for an energising yoga class on the beautiful Hampstead Heath, followed by a refreshing dip in the mixed bathing pond.
The class will be an all levels vinyasa flow class with options given throughout for different levels and abilities. Do expect to sweat and work hard, for that well deserved cool off in the pond.
Swimming is optional! But if you have never swum in the Hampstead ponds before I thoroughly recommend it. I swam for the first time last year and now I am hooked, I find it mentally and physically powerfully healing. Swimming in nature washes away your worries whilst the cold water improves immunity, boosts your mood, improves circulation, reduces inflammation plus more.

Please note that we will be practising in a different spot to last year. I will try to run 3 or 4 of these over the summer months.
£8 if booked in advance, £10 drop in on the day.
Bring a yoga mat or a towel to practice on, your swimmers, a bottle of water and some sunscreen!
